    Dyer Electronics started out as a franchised company with many locations across Texas under the command of Jerry Dyer. In 1987, Doug Hooks and William Thornell purchased the Dyer Electronics store on East Ben White Blvd. That store soon turned into two stores, one on West Ben White Blvd. and the second on on Burnet Road.
    The Custom Home Division was seperated from the Car and Home Retail Division and was set up as its own entity in 1990. In 1999, Dyer Electronics consolidated the two stores into the Burnet Rd. location. Then in the Fall of 2000, we opened our Custom Home Design Center across the street from our Car and Home Retail Store. This growth has better allowed the Dyer Electronics Team to better serve the demanding custom home market.
