Family Rooms

In this room you will notice that no electronics are visible. You will also notice that the only cue that a system is installed is the television screen.
The cabinet was trimmed around it such that all you see is the screen itself. We also hid the speakers behind large matching grill cloth doors on the outside edge of the cabinets.
With techniques like these we maintained the look of the room while still providing quality entertainment.

Most Family Rooms are larger, more inviting environments that lend themselves to having the whole family interact. Hence the term “Family Room”.
At Dyer we realize that this space needs to be as comfortable and cozy as possible. Often times interior designers are employed to make just that happen.
We realize that in many cases the audio and video gear must take a back seat to the overall look and feel of the room. We believe, however, that with a little planning and preparation there is no reason a family room audio video system cannot deliver the full impact of a dedicated theater room.
With that in mind here are a few examples of rooms with what to look out for.
