Rusty Thornell has found great happiness and purpose since joining Dyer Electronics at its inception in San Antonio. Originally a warehouse manager, he's literally "worked his way to the top" in his 25 years with the company.
    In the years since, he's watched the Consumer Electronics Industry go through many changes, and has helped to define Dyer's place in a world full of Electronics Superstores. His focus has stayed in high-quality, high-performance Audio/Video and a high level of customer service. Instead of selling a large volume of low quality "discount electronics," Rusty has helped Dyer focus on sales of the finest consumer audio products on the market, and has kept a dedication to customer service before and after the sale.
    Rusty grew up in San Antonio, graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and moved to Austin to manage the former Ben White location. With partner Doug Hooks, he's kept Dyer at the top of Central Texas' High-End and Custom Audio/Video market.
    He's also become an expert in the areas of 12 volt Audio/Video, Home Audio and Home Theater, as well as earning 25 years of experience in customer service and sales. The body of Rusty's experience continues to grow, and his primary goal is to use all this experience to ensure Dyer's success. But when it comes down to it, he's stuck with it for 25 years because "it's fun!!!"
    When he's not at Dyer's retail location, he'll be at one of two places: On the golf course, or with family.
